Dell Inspiron 8100 and IRDA Quick Howto - I've spent some time configuring the new smsc-ircc2 driver within kernel-2.6.1 to work with my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop.  You can see my quick howto in ascii/text format here irda.txt.  All I've got to say now, is it finally works without ltmodem conflicting!
